Kristen Collett-Schmitt, Ph.D

Associate Dean and Teaching Professor, Finance

Professor Collett-Schmitt received her Ph.D. and Masters in Economics from North Carolina State University and her B.A. in Economics and Sociology from Bellarmine University. Her research focuses on economics education, inclusive pedagogy, and financial literacy. In 2024, Dr. Collett-Schmitt was appointed as the Associate Dean for Undergraduate and Specialized Master’s Programs in the Mendoza College of Business.
